As an established provider of worldwide airline and MRO technical services, CAVOK has the staff with the knowledge and expertise in aircraft transactions and fleet management including aircraft configuration control, and maintenance program management to deliver a customized turnkey result. The Situation

The client is an established North American airline and one of the largest players in the US market.

With fleet expansion, the client asked CAVOK to:

Replace a CAVOK competitor to assist with aircraft records support specific to its 737-700 aircraft acquisition, integration and conformity initiative.
With no turnover from the previous provider, CAVOK assumed responsibility for acquiring 45 aircraft from 2016 through 2018.

Approach

CAVOK developed a detailed project plan and process guide that included all major milestones agreed upon with the client.

Audited historical records to ensure that delivery conditions and regulatory requirements were met.

Supported changes to the maintenance requirements with a real-time records research and review during the conversion.

Prepared a final conformity package that included reports for Airworthiness Directives, Time Limited Items, Major Repairs, Alterations, and Supplemental Type Certificates.
